In The Newspaper Hamilton Spectator, Keshia showed her home that she shares with her Mom
and talked about what's inside and how she moved from Orleans to Brampton and she's been living
in her Semi-Detached brick house for 3 years so far. Check out her home
and the details she tells the newspaper below.
The Walls and Basement
The walls are builder's white. It is 2,200 square feet with an unfinished basement where I have a dance studio with mirrors and natural planks of wood on the floor.
Upstairs
Upstairs are four bedrooms with champagne-coloured broadloom, including my mom's bedroom with an ensuite, and the office where I have my clothes. My bedroom and the guest room share an ensuite.
The Open-Concept Living Room

The main floor has hardwood throughout except for peachy-beige ceramic tile in the foyer and powder room. In a corner of the foyer are family photos on the wall. To the left is an open-concept living room with the dining room in the middle. The dining room has a rectangular glass table with a stone base. There are gold Venetian blinds with black leather side panels.
The Kitchen

To the right of the family room is the kitchen with light wood cabinetry, beige faux marble countertops and white appliances.
Her Bedroom

My mom decorated my room, when I was in L.A. last summer making an album, as a surprise. It is clean and organized with a spot for everything. I have a 37-inch TV mounted on the wall and it turns into my computer (monitor). My room is wireless.
My white-lacquer bedroom furniture is from Ikea. I have a queen bed with attached night tables, a table on wheels that rolls over the bed, two large dressers under the television, a corner dresser and my new mirror-lined locker chest. It has inside lights and is beautiful. I have bookshelves over the TV with spotlights. There are decorative pink and white mini storage boxes, and pink and white candles on my dresser. Above my headboard are mirrors.
The three windows have white blinds and sheers. My mom made drape panels, a mauve comforter, mauve cushioning on my computer chair and pillows in light pink and mauve.
The Glass Cabinet With Awards

Every accomplishment is in the glass cabinets -- awards and trophies. It shows my mom's pride in me, being the only child.
